Timberstone Shores is an upscale, yet wonderfully small, lakeside community sharing with Nature, the shores of the crystal clear and trout-stocked waters of Nameless
Lake, Manitoulin Island. Environmental safeguards and architectural standards are key components which serve to protect and preserve this pristine and private 900 acre Eco-system. Residents take comfort in the knowledge that their neighbours, like themselves, value these protective measures which enhance the enjoyment of this unique natural resource while ensuring the long term value of each property. |

Timberstone Shores will have a maximum of twenty seasonal or year-round homes with each property having a minimum of 265 feet (80 meters) of water-frontage. All are 3 to 4 acres in size with western exposure to an undeveloped, natural shoreline. Nameless Lake is privately owned, as are the 900 acres of wilderness preserve that surround the lake. It is spring-fed and trout stocked. Since there are no overland streams running in or out, there is no provision for legal public access. This unique attribute allows the property owners to collectively act as stewards of this pristine eco-system. This action provides a measure of security that is not available to most other lakefront property owners as well as ensuring the future value of each individual property. Timberstone Shores best describes the aura of Nameless Lake that will remain in your mind and in reality for an eternity. The natural view over crystal clear waters to the "Group of Seven" shoreline is a priceless gift that will be preserved and protected for the enjoyment of future generations. Protective Covenants For aesthetic reasons and to maintain the "Timber and Stone" theme of the development, the facade of any structure that can be easily seen from Nameless Lake will incorporate the use of natural building materials and/or earth-tone colours. Wood and stone are therefore encouraged over aluminum, vinyl and concrete. Any man-made (maintenance-free) materials incorporated by necessity or choice must be in earth-tone colours. This requirement extends to roofing materials, decking and landscape features such as fences and docks. The developer will enforce the same visual standards on any projects undertaken within viewing distance of Nameless Lake. Protective Covenants and Nameless Lake Preservation Association By-Laws are paramount to the fulfillment of the development concept. The Protective Covenants are designed to preserve and enhance while the Association By-Laws will serve and protect. Nameless Lake Preservation Association A registered non-profit corporation has been established with by-laws governing the activities on Nameless Lake that will serve and protect all owners. By means of their membership in the Association, title to 200 additional acres of land and 7450 feet of Nameless Lake shoreline will be shared by by the property owners as well. This constitutes ownership and control of the balance of undeveloped property surrounding Nameless Lake. As eco-management partners, the members of the association will proudly share a common goal... "The preservation of a private wilderness area for the enjoyment of their future generations". |
